The acoustically optimised wind tunnel in Bremerhaven provides ideal conditions for experimentation involving aerodynamic constructions and components.

This wind tunnel features a relatively large cross sectional testing area, high maximum wind speed, and extremely low turbulence intensity- all while maintaining only marginal noise production. The wind tunnel in Bremerhaven has a specially constructed and aligned testing area and a very modern drive train coupled with an advanced control system. The size of the test section enables the investigation of relatively large models or original segments.

Deutsche WindGuard is also currently developing a special measuring system for the analysis of aerodynamic profiles as well as innovative measuring technology for the acoustic optimisation of construction components.
